The Association of Hungarian Insurance Companies (MABISZ) was founded in 1990 by 14 insurance companies for representing the insurance industry and protecting its interests. MABISZ is the manager of the guarantee fund of the compulsory motor liability insurance, the Indemnity Account that should grant coverage for claims where the party causing the loss does not possess motor liability insurance.
