Topic: Clarifying small typed lines of insurance contracts in the light of loss occurrences
The conference objective was to encourage participating undertakings to utilise the lessons learned from the lectures and consciously scrutinise the content of insurance contracts. Conference lecturers used real events to explain the necessity of prudence prior to any loss occurrence.
Lectures were given by employees of insurance companies and by Dr. István Molnár jurist specialised in insurance. The event was sponsored by among others QBE Atlasz Insurance Ltd., Wallis Ltd., Groupama Insurance Ltd. and Btech Llc.

Topic: Inviting bids from insurers in 2008
The conference focused on the competition – or as the practice reveals: the lack of competition – for tenders issued by large undertakings (enterprises, institutions, clients with insurance premium in excess of HUF 10 million). The topic was highlighted by the lecturers from all relevant aspects (public procurement aspect, aspects of the client, the insurer and the insurance advisor).
The position of the chief patron was filled by Dr. Csaba Kákosy chief of staff in the Ministry of Economy and Transport; we could welcome Wallis Motor Pest among our sponsors. Lectures were given by co-workers of Benfield Corporation Ltd., insurers and our managing director Mr. Ferenc Szabó.

Topic: Four aspects of the commercial line insurances
The event was titled „ Four aspects of the commercial line insurances” because we believe that in the elaboration of an insurance program for 2009 significant added value can be derived from:
1) Attitude of other undertakings
2) Experiences obtained by the broker, the insurance adviser
3) Practice followed by the jurist specialised in insurance
4) Attitude of the insurer
Representatives of all four fields addressed the conference, outlined practical and useful examples as well as proven approaches. Among the sponsors QBE Atlasz Insurance Ltd., Wallis Car Rental Llc. and Pólus Palace Thermal Golf Club Hotel should be mentioned.
